This talk is based on Verse 177 of Sura al-Baqara (2:177). Imam Zaid emphasizes the importance of moving beyond the outward manifestations of our religion and internalizing our faith in a way that brings forth constructive action that will benefit others in our society. Laced with humor and motivating anecdotes, this is a talk that will inspire young people while proving of benefit to a more mature audience.

On October 25, 2008, Imam Zaid was invited to speak at Muslim Alliance of North America (MANA) event in Santa Clara, California. Imam Zaid gave advice on how to conduct yourself during an economic crisis. He also reminded us about the importance of charity especially in difficult times. Advice was  also dispensed in regards to remain steadfast in our worship and have complete trust in Allah.
